The meetings are held at 1 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month. Only a few selections are made in advance so we can be flexible in choosing current books and films as they become available. BOOK STUDY GROUPS
DAY BOOK GROUP
The day book group meets monthly at Security State Bank, 1130 Junction Highway, on the Second Tuesday at 2:00 pm (note exception for Christmas and June) to discuss a book we have all read. The books are chosen from suggestions by members at a brunch in June. We all help in the selection. We try to include a little of everything – mystery, history, science, Texas writers, best sellers, – just a mixture so everyone has a chance to read something she likes and perhaps something to expand her horizons a bit. We gladly welcome new members.
